Occupational Therapist

Kat graduated from Appalachian State University in 2017 with a BS in Exercise Science and from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2019 with her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT). Kat worked closely with the neurologic population in the inpatient rehabilitation setting for several years in Charlotte, NC before moving to Wilmington. Kat is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) and is passionate about supporting individuals who wish to remain safely in their home to promote wellbeing and quality of life. She loves that OT focuses on ways to enhance participation in all areas and activities that bring meaning to one’s life. In her free time, Kat enjoys being outside (especially going to the beach), spending time with friends and family, and reading a good book.
