VIRTUAL ADAPTIVE THERAPEUTIC YOGA CLASSES
During COVID-19, and our need for social distancing, we have paused our onsite adaptive yoga class. We are pleased to still offer on-line Adaptive Yoga classes, led by Jen Taginski. via ZOOM platform. It has been a joy to bring together a group of dedicated yogis, living in varied cities who enjoy participating in yoga practice together through this virtual platform.
Virtual Adaptive Therapeutic Chair Yoga Class: Experience yoga with poses modified for practice with a chair. A key theme of yoga is to acknowledge and celebrate what we can do, so we can build on those strengths. Explore what you can do in this class, and you will see that the most important elements of the practice remain unchanged. A 55 min gentle yoga class that utilizes the support of a chair throughout sun salutations, sitting, and standing postures. This class aims to make yoga accessible to people who may have difficulty transitioning on/off the floor, standing for long periods of time, and people with balance deficits. The class foundation is built on the principles of Vinyasa yoga, linking breath with movement and is sure to leave you feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and refreshed.
If you are interested in one of our on-line YOGA classes please contact our office, 910.398.6301.
